Printer Types Registry entry

Specifies the different types of printer available.

Usage

This Registry entry is assigned at the system level only:

Description

CertificateThere is one or more printer available for printing certificates.
ReceiptThere is one or more printer available for printing receipts.
ChequeThere is one or more printer available for printing checks.
DefaultOne or more printers are able to print certificates and receipts.

Although this entry is not required as it defaults to Default, there must be an Available Printers Registry entry that defines what the Default printers are. If additional printer types are required, these types should be added.

Note: This entry is only required if there are special printers on the network, i.e. if the only type is Default, this entry is not required. However, if there are special printers and this entry is added, be sure to list Default as a type to be sure to cover all non-special printers available to users / groups.
